Heart of Steel
03:26
|
|||
Steel meets steels on the iron hill
Where we stand no one will
Fight and die in the darkest night
For Silmarils, for globes of light
Our swords ablaze like a starlight
Into the storm and out of the dark-night
Fight in the dark like the fire
Like a last star on the horizon
Raise your sword and ride your steed
In the hour of the king
Guided by light and by fire
Like a last star on the horizon
My sword is black, my final deed
Heart of steel: steel meets steel!

Carven Stone
03:29
|
|||
Passed the lonely Mountain bare
and swept above the dragon's lair:
there black and dark lay boulders stark
Left the world and took its flight
over the wide seas of the night.
The moon set sail upon the gale,
and stars were fanned to leaping light.
The moon set sail upn the glade
Over old hills and mountains bare…
Carven stone
The king under the mountain and ancient hall
His hands are rich by gems and gold
The king under the mountain and carven stone
We shall fight for the king forevermore!
The wind was on the withered heath,
but in the forest stirred no leaf:
there shadows lay by night and day,
and dark things silent crept beneath.
The wind came down from mountains cold,
and like a tide it roared and rolled;
the branches groaned, the forest moaned,
and leaves were laid upon the mould.

Witching Hour
03:26
|
|||
Darkness falls across the land
The witching hour is close at hand
There are many hours before the dawn
The moon is full and the shadows crawl
Count of the death and endless blights
Of countless winters and thousand nights
In the night of the dead
A queen covered in black
She rises at the night of the dead
Children of the night, of endless blights
Of countless winters and scarlet nights
The shadows are long, the hour is dark
The moon is bright on night sky…
Spirits of the undead walk the land
Snow is falling; the dusk is at hand…

In Habbanan beneath the skies
Where all roads end however long
There is a sound of faint guitars
And distant echoes of a song,
For there men gather into rings
Round their red fires while one voice sings –
And all about is night.
A globe of dark glass faceted with light
Wherein the splendid winds have dusky flight;
Untrodden spaces of an odorous plain
That watches for the moon that long has lain
Not night as ours, unhappy folk,
Where nigh the Earth in hazy bars,
A mist about the springing of the stars,
There trails a thin and wandering smoke
Obscuring with its veil half-seen
The great abysmal still Serene.

Moria
03:46
|
|||
The world world was young, the mountains green,
No stain yet on the Moon was seen,
No words were laid on stream or stone
on stream or stone
A king he was on carven throne
In many-pillared halls of stone
With golden roof and silver floor,
upon the door.
The light of sun and star and moon
In shining lamps of crystal hewn
Undimmed by cloud or shade of night
forever far and bright.
There hammer on the anvil smote,
There chisel clove, and graver wrote;
There forged was bladed and bound was hilt;
The delver mined the mason built.
The world is grey, the mountains old,
The forge's fire is ashen-cold;
No harp is wrung, no hammer falls:
The darkness dwells in Durin's halls.

Over the Mountains Cold
04:19
|
|||
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.
The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.
The dragon-fire, in twisted wire
They meshed the light of moon and sun.
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
Far over the misty mountains grim
To dungeons deep and caverns dim.
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day,
To claim our long-forgotten gold.
For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gleaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.
The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.

Hunted by the chaos though the countless spheres
Strange omens and signs rise before my eyes
Gods once dreaming now awake and gaze
Through the lost labyrinths and ancient starcaves
...A dreams of faceless fears
...A sleep of thousand tears
Faces of chaos just smile, dance and grin
Walls are crumbling down, caught in my final dreams
I am the king of death, the stealer of souls
Just a jester lost in the game of chaos
Arioch, my lord, where are your signs?
The cosmos is the labyrith of future and past
...A dreams of faceless fears
...A tower of thousand tears
A warrior stands alone, all in jet and gold
Behind the storm, I am the sword of the dawn
Dragons of time, empires fall-a last vision of mine
Into the heart of the storm, winds rage and millenniums fall
Hunted by the chaos though the countless spheres
Strange omens and signs rise before my eyes
Gods once dreaming now awake and gaze
I am the stealer of souls, the last of the Dragonlords!
